Jacqueline Bailey Campbell

PRESIDENT

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: The President serves as the primary leader of the organization, guiding its vision and mission while ensuring that the organization operates effectively and efficiently and ensures goals are met.
  • Meeting Facilitation: The President is responsible for presiding over meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring that discussions remain focused and productive.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with other executives and members to develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the organization.
  • Liaison Role: Act as the main point of contact between various stakeholders, including alumni, community members, and other organizations, to build relationships and partnerships and represents the committee externally.


Winston (Hugo) Aitcheson

VICE PRESIDENT

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: The Vice President assists the president, oversees projects, steps in when the president is unavailable, and ensures smooth internal operations.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Assists the president in presiding over meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring that discussions remain focused and productive.
  • Strategic Planning: Assists with collaboring with other executives and members to develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the organization.
  • Liaison Role: Assists the President in building relationships with the alumni, other community members, organizations and partnerships.


Petrena Wood

SECRETARY

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Documentation: Responsible for keeping accurate minutes of all meetings and maintaining records of proceedings, decisions, and discussions.
  • Communication: Handle correspondence for the organization, including emails and official letters, and manage communication with members regarding meetings, events, and updates.
  • Membership Records: Maintain updated records of membership, including contact information and attendance, and oversee membership outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Calendar Coordination: Ensure that all meetings, events, and deadlines are scheduled and communicated effectively to the members.
  • Governance: Maintain and manage organizational documents, such as bylaws, policies, and official reports, ensuring they are accessible and updated as needed.
  • Support to Leadership: Provide administrative support to the President and other executives, assisting with preparations for meetings and events as needed.


Angella Clarke

TREASURER

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: The Treasurer is responsible for managing the organization’s finances, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Budget Development: Develop an annual budget in collaboration with the executive team, ensuring funds are allocated according to the organization’s priorities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, manage receipts, invoices, and other financial documents.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for board meetings and general membership meetings, providing updates on income, expenses, and overall financial health.
  • Fundraising: Assist in planning and implementing fundraising strategies to ensure the organization has sufficient funds to operate effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with financial regulations and reporting requirements, and that all financial practices uphold ethical standards.


Rhonda Brown

ASSISTANT SECRETARY

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Documentation: Assists the Secretary in keeping accurate minutes of all meetings and maintaining records of proceedings, decisions, and discussions.

  • Implements security measures to protect alumni data and privacy.
  • Provides technical support for virtual events and online networking platforms.
  • Troubleshoots technical issues and ensures smooth communication.
  • Collaborates with PR team on digital marketing initiatives.
